  • I love this izakaya place!!! The food is really good and the atmosphere is awesome. I went there by myself, so reservation was quite easy. But if you're going as a group, it's best to reserve a week or two prior. I tried the Zarusoba, Liver Yakitori, Butabara Kurokosho and Maguro Sashimi. They were delicious!

  • They serve genuine Japanese food. Very fresh sashimi and also reasonable for this quality. Variety of the dishes is very wide and everyone can enjoy. Atmosphere is at home and really like Japanese Izakaya.

  • This is a Japanese-style izakaya that’s a favorite among Japanese expats living in Manila — and for good reason. The owner and staff are warm and friendly, creating an atmosphere that feels genuinely welcoming and homey. Everything on the menu is delicious, and with such a wide variety of dishes, I’ll definitely be coming back again!

  • This hole in the wall izakaya is actually the best izakaya in manila. I was amazed by its atmosphere. It is like transferred to Tokyo. This izakaya has a lot of regulars who make reservations continuously, so if you go there with friends you need to make reservation in advance. But if you are alone, you can sit by the bar and enjoy their japanese sochu. The owner kawasaki san is very welcoming and kind.
